Junior Sales Executive - Kilkenny

Laharts are seeking to recruit a Junior Sales Executive to join our sales team in Kilkenny.

  • Helping to maintain showroom
  • Organising and updating inside and outside displays
  • Ensuring that used stock is maintained as required
  • Keeping prices and point of sale up to date
  • Participating in the sales promotions on both new and used vehicles
  • Meeting and greeting of prospective and current customers
  • Scheduling both new and used vehicles for delivery
  • Ensuring all stock is retail ready
  • Examination of valeting work on new and used vehicles before delivery to customer
  • Handover of new and used vehicles to customers
  • Following up on previous sales enquiries
  • Ensuring all stock is photographed and displayed online with correct current information

Requirements

  • Candidates must be competent, responsible and be willing to work as members of a team.
  • Good communications skills are key and applicants must be willing to adhere to all company and Brand policies and procedures.
  • Full clean drivers licence
  • Previous Retail Sales or Hospitality Experience is an advantage.
  • Experience and confidence with technology would be an advantage

Diagnostic Motor Technician - Clonmel

Laharts are looking to recruit Qualified Diagnostic Motor Technicians to join our Skoda service team in Clonmel.

The ideal candidates will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and dealership standards
  • Performing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy
  • Using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified
  • Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required
  • Complete service documentation in line with ISO, warranty and dealership requirements
  • Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Qualified Motor Technician
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be a good team player
  • Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required
  • Will be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment
  • Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work
  • Full Clean Driving License

Service Advisor - Skoda - Clonmel

Laharts Skoda are looking to recruit a Service Advisor to join our Aftersales team in Clonmel.

To support our business expansion, we require a Service Advisor to work as part of our customer service team. Previous experience in a similar role or a sales role would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. This position is ideally suited to an energetic and highly motivated professional who thrives in a busy environment.

The Role:

  • Meet and greet all service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner
  • Inspect customers’ vehicles and refer to service history to accurately identify and verify all customers’ service needs
  • Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts, and accessories by thoroughly understanding the vehicle and associated service requirements
  • Check on progress of services to vehicles throughout the day and contact customer to communicate and receive approval and authorisation regarding any changes in the cost-estimate, promised time of delivery or recommended services
  • To deliver customer satisfaction scores in line with Skoda standards

The Candidate:

  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment
  • Ability to upsell from VHC reports
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed targets
  • IT Literate including Microsoft Office suite
  • Self-motivating and able to manage own workload
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • Highly organised and focused
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Full driving license
  • Knowledge of Kerridge/Keyloop is an advantage as is a good technical understanding of vehicles
