Motor Technician - Clonmel

Laharts Skoda are looking to recruit a Qualified Motor Technician to join our Aftersales team in Clonmel. As a result of strong demand from our customers we recently expanded workshop which has been equipped and developed to the very latest Volkswagen Group standards.

The ideal candidates will be experienced in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics and be capable of producing quality work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Service & repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and dealership standards
• Performing work as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy
• Using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified
• Examining the vehicle and performing vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Maintaining a clean and neat workspace and adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor Technician
• 3rd/4th Year Apprentice
• Ability to work on own initiative and be a good team player
• Good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required
• Will be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment
• Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work
• Full Clean Driving License
